This course is suitable for anyone with an interest in wildlife and natural habitats. We will share and increase our knowledge of local wildlife and plants, with opportunities to spot and identify native animals, trees and plants. We will explore ways in which people relate to the natural world and look at research that shows the positive impacts of increased interaction and awareness of nature on our wellbeing and mental health.

The course will include outdoor activities, so students are encouraged to please dress appropriately for the weather
